The Crucible by DeathGripz

The Crucible by DeathGripz is a new patent pending fitness product designed to build finger, grip, wrist, and forearm strength by utilizing progressive overload, and high-volume training. It is compact, lightweight, and allows you to be fit anywhere – your home, while traveling, at work, or in a commercial gym.

As a famous 7 time Mr. Olympia once said, “The most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is the pump, it’s better than sex”. We all look for that elusive Pump or Hypertrophy that indicates we are making gains while we are in the gym. When it comes to forearm workouts, they are few and far between, until now. We called our product the Crucible because it is truly a test of wills. You will want to quit, it will make you nauseous, but if you can complete the circuit, you will find that elusive pump and create growth.

The Crucible was designed to be used as a circuit, but can also be utilized to satisfy each individual users needs.

The Circuit

Simply start with the inside grips, rolling the bar forward or backward, incrementally raising the weight.

Continue your way outwards with the progressively thicker/more challenging grips, to the ball attachment that focuses on finger and wrist strength.

If you rolled the bar forward as you progressed outwards, make sure to roll the bar the opposite direction while progressing back inwards.

This is important as different muscles are activated rolling the bar forward, vs backwards.

The circuit is complete when you have returned back to the starting point.

The Crucible can be used either overhand (pictured) or underhand, for a more intense/complete arm workout.

If you don’t want to complete the circuit, the crucible has 4 different grip sizes, giving users the flexibility of choosing the grip that reflects their hand size, fitness level, and goals.

Traditional wrist rollers only allow you to attach weight plates as the resistance option. This limits the users strength training ability by the amount of weight their shoulders are able to hold up while they are using the product.

The Crucible can be attached to weight plates/kettle bells, a universal cable machine, body weight resistance, resistance bands for home gym use, or anything that meets your fitness goals.  

Attaching The Crucible to resistance bands or a universal cable machine takes the focus off of your shoulders and back to where it matters, your forearms!  Comfortably hold The Crucible at arms length in front of your body and focus on the movement of the exercise to achieve maximum benefit.  *this resistance option is ideal for beginners or users wanting to focus on building muscle with heavy weight.
